Limerick audiences are in for a special treat as Aslan play Live at the Big Top on April 20th with a gig that will feature all of Aslan iconic playlist. Their recent Big Top performances have been described as a ‘joyous experience’ by audience members and Dolans are particularly delighted to welcome them back as they celebrate a significant milestone.

The band’s album ‘Goodbye Charlie Moonhead’ was released back in 1994 and with this in mind the band will be touring the album throughout 2019 performing songs such as Rainman, Where’s the Sun?, Games, Sweet Time , Goodbye Charlie Moonhead and of course Crazy World.

This has been a busy time for Aslan who have performed sell-out gigs at the Olympia Theatre Dublin, Live At The Big Top in Limerick, Cork’s Opera House and an outdoor gig in the Iveagh Gardens in Dublin. The band was also recently featured in the RTE documentary ‘This Is Christy’ which chronicled the life and work of the band’s lead singer Christy Dignam.

Following a studio return which saw the band release and record new material and coming on the back of their ‘Feel no Shame’ tour, this is a period that surely confirms Aslan’s status as one of Ireland’s most popular bands. Aslan recently released a new single Now I Know which was produced by Joe Jewell and Philip Magee (Kodaline, The Script).

Aslan were one of the very first rock bands to play in Dolans when the venue opened the Warehouse over 20 years ago. Over the course of three decades Aslan have made a phenomenal contribution to the Irish music scene.

Speaking of the band’s upcoming Limerick gig, Mick Dolan said: “Aslan have been very loyal supporters of Dolans down through the years and, as we both celebrate important milestones, we are delighted to be welcoming the band back to Limerick for what is sure to be a very special night”.
