Gerry McAvoy's Band of Friends is a tribute band that pays homage to the legendary blues musician Rory Gallagher. Formed in 2012, the band includes McAvoy, who played with Gallagher for 20 years, and features guitarists Brian Tambling and Andy Taylor, as well as drummer Brendan O'Neill. The band has toured worldwide, performing Gallagher's music and celebrating his legacy. They are set to perform in Ireland in March 2026, marking a significant event in the celebration of Rory Gallagher's life and music.
