Curiosity Shop is a five piece alt-folk band, each from a different corner of Scotland. In contrast with their rainy, dark and rural upbringings, their music is bright and full of life. Drawing from singer/songwriter influences, they also tap into the worlds of folk, jazz and trad. Their unique sound is defined by their use of warm vocal harmonies and acoustic instrumentation featuring acoustic guitar, double bass and accordion. You will find them distinctive, yet comfortingly familiar.
Since forming in early 2024, Curiosity Shop have performed at venues around Scotland, selling out their first four headline shows across Glasgow and Edinburgh in March this year with no music released. They supported alt-country darlings Divorce on tour across the UK in late 2025. They will appear at festivals across the UK and Europe this summer, including Gent Jazz Festival, Deershed, Mosely Folk Festival and Left Of The Dial. See below for full list of live dates.
The Labourers are an Irish folk band. Inspired by Irish Folk and Punk, the band infuse melodic harmonies and traditional accompaniment with punk back beats.
The group formed in London as a duo playing in traditional Irish music sessions, playing covers and sharing songs they had written around the table. Gaining a popularity with their original music the duo decided to record their first EP 'The Curse Of Saint Munchin'. Building off of that success the two Labourers decided to move back to Ireland, recruit a full band and take their music to a new level to create energetic and immersive live shows.
