Limerick favourites Hermitage Green will mark a major milestone next year as they celebrate their 15-year anniversary with a special hometown concert at King John’s Castle on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, as part of the May Bank Holiday Weekend.
The show will see the band return to one of Limerick’s most iconic landmarks for what promises to be a landmark night of music, memories, and celebration. With a career spanning over a decade and a half, Hermitage Green have built a loyal following both at home and abroad, known for their powerful live performances and infectious blend of folk, rock, and roots.
Joining them on the night will be special guest Jamie McIntyre, adding to what is set to be a spectacular evening of Irish music in the heart of the city.
Formed in Limerick in 2011, Hermitage Green quickly rose to prominence with their dynamic sound and energetic live shows. From sold-out tours across Ireland, Australia, the Middle East and North America, to acclaimed releases like Save Your Soul and Hi Generation, the band have consistently delivered heartfelt, high-energy performances that resonate with fans across generations.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate 15 years together than by coming home to play King John’s Castle,” said the band. “It’s where so much of our journey began, and to mark this milestone surrounded by our fans, friends, and family means the world to us.”
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of King John’s Castle, this anniversary show will be an unmissable celebration of one of Limerick’s most beloved musical success stories.
