The BA in Irish Music is the only undergraduate music programme in the world that places the performance and study of Irish traditional music at the centre of the work and focus of students. As such it recruits a body of exceptional traditional musicians who all aspire to the highest levels of creativity and professionalism while reflecting and honouring the generations of musicians and artists who have preceded them.  

This showcase performance, featuring the fourth year students from the programme, will feature instrumental traditional Irish music, song, and dance. These students from Ireland and across Europe will show a vibrancy, energy and sheer sense of joy that reflects the best that traditional Irish music and culture has to offer in a contemporary and relevant style and context. This is not an exam but a celebration of the creative work that the students have developed over the past four years while also being perhaps the best night out you will have all year!
