is December, the enchanting surroundings of the Spiegeltent Pavilion at Howley's Quay will be transformed into the perfect setting for a brand-new festive family production as Open Door Productions presents Scrooged – a musical Christmas comedy guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
Devised and directed by acclaimed Limerick theatre-maker Margaret Hough, Scrooged is a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud reimagining of Charles Dickens' timeless classic, A Christmas Carol. Packed with comedy, live music, audience interaction and spectacular theatrical moments, this joyful production promises to become a festive highlight in Limerick's Christmas calendar.
Featuring a talented cast of nine celebrated Limerick performers, Scrooged brings Ebenezer Scrooge's unforgettable journey to life with lightning-fast costume changes, lively musical numbers, dazzling sound and lighting effects, and plenty of festive surprises along the way. Audiences will follow Scrooge as he transforms from a cold-hearted miser into a man filled with generosity, kindness and Christmas spirit.

The festive production will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December, with performances at 2pm and 4pm each day.
