Limerick’s Christmas Tradition Is Back

Liam O’Brien’s Crooning at Christmas returns to Dolan’s Warehouse on Tuesday, December 22nd

Some Christmas traditions are worth keeping.

For more than two decades, Liam O’Brien’s Crooning at Christmas has been part of Christmas in Limerick - a night of great songs, big-band swing, special guests and the unmistakable atmosphere of a packed Dolan’s Warehouse just days before Christmas.

And this December, it’s back.

On Tuesday, December 22nd, Liam and his Million Dollar Swing Band return to Dolan’s for another festive celebration, packed with timeless favourites including White Christmas, Let It Snow, Baby It’s Cold Outside and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, alongside the swinging Christmas sounds of Harry Connick Jr., Michael Bublé and the Rat Pack.

A former Emmerdale actor and acclaimed Rat Pack performer, Liam starred as Dean Martin in the West End hit The Rat Pack: Live from Las Vegas, and has performed everywhere from London’s Roundhouse to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall. But Crooning at Christmas remains a homecoming - a show first created in Limerick in 2004, and one that audiences have made their own ever since.

As always, Liam will be joined by some very special guests, with this year’s line-up to be revealed over the coming weeks.

And the night continues a tradition that goes beyond the stage: over the years, Crooning at Christmas has raised more than €21,500 for the Redemptorists’ Christmas Poor Campaign.

The last few years have sold out well in advance – so if Crooning at Christmas is part of your Christmas, don’t leave it until Christmas to book.
