Today, Carlow’s bi-lingual, mutli-instrumentalist maverick SexyTadhg announces their 14-date, community binding, culturally defining ‘SLUTTRAD’ UK & IRE Tour for October / November / December 2026. In tandem with the release of their genre blurring “TADHG” EP which demonstrates a unique vision of Traditional Irish music, that is intrinsically entwined with queer culture, resulting in total redefinition of the modern Irish identity.
The SexyTadhg live show has been described as a “euphoric blend of big band jazz, theatrical soul, and dazzling pop, bursting with brass, keys, layered harmonies, and a groove-rich rhythm section, that channels the grandiosity of the SexyTadhg personna, while showcasing their magnetic, commanding vocal presence.” (1883 Magazine), with Hotpress remarking that the live show is “theatrical disco music at its finest, Tadhg's performances are an exhilarating blend of musicianship and creativity.”
Tadhg's commanding vocals and virtuoso piano skills have mesmerized audiences internationally, as their big band extravaganza elevates Irish musicianship to unprecedented heights. Their performances often draw comparisons to legendary icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Freddie Mercury, yet SexyTadhg artfully intertwines this majestic persona with the uplifting joy of Traditional Irish folk and intimate narratives that explore themes of gender, sexuality, and mental health.
From their sold out debut headline tour, which included dates in The Academy (Dublin), Wave Length (Cork) and Folklore (London), to supporting The Mary Wallopers on their 18-date UK tour in iconic venues such as The O2 Brixton Academy (London) and The O2 Apollo (Manchester), as well as their massive outdoor shows in Farview Park (Dublin), The Marquee (Cork) and The Big Top (Galway) and Biird in Vicar Street (Dublin), 2025 saw SexyTadhg mesmerise crowds far and wide, with the grandiosity of their live show best epitomised by iconic festival performances, playing to thousands at the likes of All Together Now, Electric Picnic, Beyond The Pale & Other Voices Dingle and Other Voices Cardigan.
2026 holds infinite possibilities for the SexyTadhg live show juggernaut which burst out of the blocks at this year’s ESNS festival in Groningen last January and is poised to be one of the hottest shows of the week at this year’s The Great Escape in Brighton, which kickstarts a blockbuster run of marquee festival dates, followed by 14 unmissable headline shows as part of the “SLUTTRAD” UK & Ireland Tour to close out the year.
