Freya Ridings, considered the most hotly-tipped British artist for 2019, has announced that she will play Dolans Warehouse on March 1st 2019.
Her recent single ‘Lost Without You’ hit the Top 10 in UK Singles Chart and was the first Top 10 for an Independent Artist since Stormzy in 2017. The single is currently A-listed is number one in the Shazam charts.
As she prepares to embark on her sold-out headline tour next week, kicking off at o2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Thursday night - she continues to become the most hotly tipped British artist of 2019 with the announcement of her largest headline tour to date for 2019.
It’s been an incredible year for the North London, 23-year old, who is fast becoming the most hotly tipped artist for 2019, since her single ‘Lost Without You’ hit Number 9 in the Official Chart. A hymn to lost love and regret, the single has now had over 50 million streams, it’s been added to BBC Radio 1 playlist, played by Capital FM, Heart, Smooth FM and Bauer network and she’s the No.1 artist in the Independent singles and Shazam chart.
The last time a female artist hit the Top 10 with a song 100% written by themselves was in 2012 with a re-charting of Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’.
Freya’s rising success is testament to an artist that has been touring relentlessly over the past couple of years, selling out venues in the US and UK, playing festivals, constantly writing and releasing music for her fans through Good Soldier.
‘Lost Without You’, alongside other stand-out tracks ‘Ultraviolet’, ‘Blackout’ and her spine-tingling cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s ‘Maps’ has now catapulted Freya’s monthly listeners on Spotify to over 2 million. Plus, Freya’s live album ‘Live at Omeara’ released earlier this year has now been the #1 Alternative album on iTunes for 3 consecutive weeks.

Led by the Hunt Museum supported by Limerick Arts Office, and Limerick City and County Council the events will include a curated exhibition on the life and career of Catherine Hayes; a video-installation documenting Hayes’ life projected onto the façade of her birthplace at 4 Patrick St, playing snippets of opera and song from her repertoire and a commemorative concert celebrating her life and career at St Mary’s Cathedral.
