Comedy Karlnival presents

Paul Marsh

Despite making a later in life arrival to comedy than most, Paul Marsh has made up for his late start by making a massive impact on the Irish comedy scene. Paul wasted no time and rapidly racked up winners trophies in some of Ireland's premier new comedy competitions, winning both the Tedfest Toilet Duck Award 2015 and the Capital Comedy Club Competition in Dublin.
Paul followed up his truly impressive start by going to support some of the biggest name in Irish comedy including Karl Spain, PJ Gallagher and Neil Delamere. He has now been performing regularly at all the Irish comedy clubs for over 6 years as well as being a Kilkenny Cats Laughs and Vodafone Comedy Carnival regular. Paul is now one of the most in demand acts in Ireland and increasingly in the UK.

'The future of Irish comedy is in safe hands' - Comedy Ireland

And this week’s special guest MC is Abigoliah Schamaun, who is a product of her New York stand up roots; frank, funny, and unapologetic. She first showed her face in the UK comedy scene when she became a finalist in the Funny Women Comedy Awards 2010 and has grown a Edinburgh Fringe following coming back yearly ever since. She moved to London in 2014 and has become a regular on the circuit. She was named “One to Watch” at Leicester Comedy Festival 2017 and The List named her "Top 5 Up and Coming Female Comedians"

As the only yoga instructor/comedian in comedy Abigoliah presents her always hilarious comedy with an open heart chakra. Bringing her audience into her world with the warmth and excitement like a friend who you haven’t seen in a while.

Her comedy extends past the stage as she was nominated in 2016 for a Malcom Hardee “Cunning Stunt Award” for buying an incredible amount of outside advertising and then plastering them with fake reviews poking fun at the usefulness of the critics words. She has been featured on Comedian’s Comedians Podcast with Stuart Goldsmith, The Guilty Feminist Podcast, and Global Pillage with Deborah Francis White. She also appeared in Comedy Central’s season 2 of “I Live with Models”and has opened for Jim Norton, Kyle Kinane, and Gad Emelah.

Blindboy Podcast Live

Tickets €27 - (strictly over 18's)

Tickets €27 - (strictly over 18's)

Blindboy's increased notability away from his band Rubberbandits, has allowed for him to explore wider avenues and create perhaps outrageously mind-altering brainchildren which can only be described as courageous, yet bonkers.

Now with an audience of over 1,000,000.00 people listening and a new show going live with the BBC early 2019.

With a number one selling book under his belt and a podcast that has reached interest not only in Ireland & Uk ….but internationally, the satirist could possibly single-handedly change people's mind set on mental health and the deafening stigma it surrounds.

Outspoken, informed and empathetic, Blindboy engages his audience with an unusual touch of realism. There is a very authentic feeling of "freedom" he  exhumes which allows his listeners and participants to openly speak their mind without judgement and no topic off limits - certainly an air of belonging encircling the space you find yourself in when listening or in company of Blindboy.

His latest innovative creation, The Blindboy podcast not only espouses mental health issues but reaches further into an eclectic spectrum of current topics from gun laws to feminism, racism or a bit of history. Blindboy has it covered.

His uncanny ability to articulate what nearly everyone is thinking is unparalleled and something that is sorely needed in Irish society.- The Daily Edge
