New Irish soul act U.M.A.N released his soul single “Flamin’Day” earlier this year. It received its first ever play on the Ian Dempsey show and subsequently shot to No.4 on the iTunes singles chart. "Flamin Day" went onto break the top 30 radio chart and it reached the top 10 on Shazam. It continues to grow and is heading towards a quarter of a million plays on Spotify.
U.M.A.N is an abbreviation for U. Must. Act. Now is singer songwriter Brian Flanagan. Brian previously released an album that featured a duet with Folk Blues Legend Eric Bibb and he joined Bibb on his recent Irish Tour.
Brian wrote the charity single for Sile Seoige and celebrity choir ( Jack L, Mary Black, Roisin O etc). The single reached No. 6 in the Irish charts over Christmas and earned 25K for charity, Brian also composed a song for the Easter Rising anniversary featuring Finbar Furey.
Brian joined the Collective Management early this year and has focused on finding a new sound and direction. Earlier this month U.M.A.N sold out two headline show in Whelans Dublin.
