  • Dolans Warehouse 3-4 Dock Rd V94 VH4X Ireland (map)

Dublin's Choice Nominated, gold-selling, Number 1 rock band, The Riptide Movement, has just announced a summer tour to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their Number 1 Album 'Getting Through'. The legendary album includes songs like 'All Works Out' 'You & I' 'Animal' 'Skin and Bones' and the title track 'Getting Through'. The band will be playing the album in its entirety on this tour.

Reflecting on the album’s enduring significance and upon the ten years since the album's release, lead singer and songwriter Malachy Tuohy said, 'It's hard to believe it's ten years already since its release; it's an album we're all so proud of; it's got some of our favourite songs on it, and it’s got an incredible energy to it, it really captures that time for the band'. The album was produced by Grammy award-winning producer Ted Hutt and recorded in Grouse Lodge.

The Riptide Movement was formed in 2006; they are renowned for their phenomenal live shows and have played all around the world, from the main stage at Electric Picnic to Glastonbury and Benicassim; they've also shared stages with artists such as The Rolling Stones and Neil Young and have collaborated with renowned orchestras such as the BBC Orchestra and the RTE Concert Orchestra. The band is currently working on their 6th Studio record, which is expected to be released later this year.
